Community services
Vera Beauty College is always at the forefront in working and giving
back to thecommunity. We are involved in prison rehabilitationprogrammes;
we train prisoners in many fields suchas Fashion, Modeling, and hair dressing
as a way of encouraging and preparing them to face life after prison.
Vera Beauty College has a passion for environment and Cultural Heritage(Afro- Model Link). We are always at the forefront in advocating for good environment by doing very clean-ups within the city every year.
Due to this passion the school organizes the Miss Earth event whose objectives is to create environmental awareness within the youth groups to protect and conserve our environment and natural heritage for our future generations.
The school does not leave culture behind as we know a community without culture is a lost community. We encourage the youths to be involved in promoting Kenya’s cultural diversity under the umbrella of the Ministry Of Tourism dubbed “Tujivunie UtamaduniWetu”. A concept which was originally started by Vera Beauty College before it was adapted by the MinistryFor Tourism to be used as a vehicle to drive CulturalTourism to Kenya. The school is very proud to have participated in this concept and proud to have madeit a success.
